Cookies & similar technologies

Policy version v1.1 · Last updated 7 June 2026

Registrum is an Australian small-business accounting platform. We use the minimum number of cookies and similar local-storage technologies required to keep you signed in, deliver the features you've asked for, and keep your data secure.

This page satisfies our disclosure obligations under Australian Privacy Principle 1.4 (open and transparent management of personal information) and APP 5 (notification of collection). Registrum is an Australian service and does not target the EU/EEA/UK; where we detect a visitor from those regions we simply apply a stricter consent prompt by default.

What we use right now

Registrum currently uses only strictly necessary, functional and security/anti-abuse cookies and local-storage entries. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking. We do not sell or share personal information with data brokers.

Our sign-up and public lead-capture forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which sets a short-lived security cookie on challenges.cloudflare.com and collects limited browser signals to tell humans apart from bots. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum for details.

If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, this page and the banner will be updated, the policy version will increment, and you will be re-prompted for consent.

Your choices

Because Registrum uses only strictly necessary cookies, no opt-in is legally required in Australia. The banner exists for transparency. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.

Where a visitor appears to be outside Australia, we default to the stricter prompt: nothing beyond strictly necessary storage is set until you choose. The banner offers "Accept", "Reject non-essential" and "Customise" buttons.

Consent audit log

When you make a choice in the banner, we log the action (accept / reject / customise), the policy version, the categories chosen, your approximate region, and a hashed identifier — solely to demonstrate compliance to regulators if requested. We do not log full IP addresses.

Withdrawing consent

Clear site data via your browser settings. Strictly necessary cookies will be re-created when you sign in again. You can also contact us to request deletion of your consent log entries.
